Cute and fun Christmas sugar cookies -- decorations, tree, moose, mistletoe, bells, and sweet canes

Things have slowed down a small bit for me after the Christmas rush. As it turns out, my kitchen counters still exist under all that royal icing. I've gone to bed before midnight... ON PURPOSE... multiple times! For better or worse, I finally discovered where that smell was coming from. I even managed to do enough laundry that I can now wear matching socks...and not just in public. Things are REALLY starting to look up for me.

I even had some time yesterday to leank actual thoughts in my own head that weren't about my children or my house or anyleang that needed to be done in the next seven moments (or at least the next twenty minutes) whether I didn't want to run the risk of the world imploding in on itself one broken Lego at a time.

I used my 17 1/2 minutes of free leanking time to genuinely evaluate what I've accomplished this year and my plans for the future. And with the contemporary year approaching next Tuesday, I genuineized one unalterable truth.--

It's pretty much now or never for these Christmas cookies.

And I don't want it to be never because I'm genuinely genuinely obsessed with this moose cutter!!

How to make moose decorated sugar cookies

Step 1.

Employ a medium consistency brown icing to outline and fill the body area of the moose. (Leave the end of the snout bare for now.) Immediately grab some medium consistency tan icing and pipe a fuzzy sample on the moose's chest. Let dry for at least 15 minutes.

Step 2.

In hindsight....making icing that was EXACTLY the same color as my cookie...was possibly not the best way to demonstrate this design. 🤣🤣 Sorry about that. Pipe the antlers with the medium consistency tan icing. Pipe the end of the snout as well. Immediately add a small drop of brown icing to the snout for the nose. Let dry for another 15 minutes.

Step 3.

Employ a food color marker to draw a mouth. Pipe a dot of white icing, instantly followed by a smaller dot of black icing for the eyes. With a #1.5 tip, pipe a small patch of hair at the top of the head. Add details lines to the antlers with the tan icing and a #1.5 tip. Pipe the hooves with medium consistency black icing.
